We envision the Maine Civics Network becoming a collaborative of students, educators, and others dedicated to making civics learning more “hands-on” and embedded in the civic life of our communities, counties, and state.  We hope that the MCN can be a hub for sharing:

• Learning resources for youth 

• Teaching resources for educators

• In-person & on-line collaboration with others interested in making civic learning "come alive"

• Professional development opportunities for teachers
